Installation Guide
Installation Methods
Floating
Ideal for areas where subfloor penetration is not desired. Lay underlayment, lock planks together, and leave a 1/4 inch expansion gap around the perimeter.
Glue Down
Use for high-traffic areas or where noise reduction is needed. Apply adhesive with a trowel, position the planks, and roll to ensure adhesion.
Nail Down
Suitable for wood subfloors, providing a secure fit. Use a pneumatic nailer, spacing nails every 6 inches along the plank.
Site Requirements
- Temperature: Keep the room temperature between 65°F and 85°F (18°C and 29°C) for at least 48 hours before, during, and after installation.
- Humidity: Maintain humidity levels between 30% and 50% to prevent expansion or contraction of the flooring.
- Preparation: Ensure HVAC systems are operational at least 48 hours prior. All windows and doors should be installed, and sufficient lighting should be available.
