Floating
Ideal for areas with minor subfloor imperfections. Use a quality underlayment, allow for 1/4" expansion gap along walls, and limit room dimensions to 40’x40’.
Glue Down
Suitable for concrete subfloors. Use a water-resistant adhesive with a 1/16" x 1/16" trowel. Allow 24 hours for curing.
Nail Down
Best for plywood subfloors. Use 1-1/2" staples with a pneumatic stapler, spacing every 8". Ensure air pressure is set to 70-90 PSI.
Site Requirements
- Temperature: Maintain a temperature between 65°F and 85°F throughout the installation and for 48 hours after.
- Humidity: Keep relative humidity levels between 30% and 50% to ensure stable conditions.
