Installation Methods
Floating
Ideal for areas where subfloor cannot be permanently altered. Ensure subfloor is flat and clean, use appropriate underlayment, allow for expansion gaps, and adhere to maximum room dimensions of 30 feet by 30 feet.
Glue Down
Use when a permanent bond to the subfloor is desired. Select an adhesive suitable for vinyl, use a trowel with the specified notch size, observe working and cure times, and install moisture barriers if needed.
Nail Down
Not typically recommended for vinyl but can be used with certain substrates. Ensure subfloor compatibility, use the correct nail/staple size, and follow spacing and air pressure guidelines.
